My computer is not able to detect my WD 1TB disk. I tried the ACHI mode and the hard drive still did not show up. CD-drive is working though and I've tried all the cable switching, but nothing changed, it won't show up on BIOS. The fact that the hard drive seems to spin up when I plugged it in and the spot on the CMOS screen where it should have shown up was blank, lead me to believe that there is something going on in the HDD. Technician said that his diagnostic tools for hard drives could not detect this drive.
I have checked many of retrieved files. They are good, no corrupt ones.
